Meeps

I worked with Meeps through Proxify. I was working directly with CEO and CTO. My main job was scaling their web scraper system.

Meeps is a event management startup based in Paris, France. the first smart social calendar that lets you find events tailored to your tastes, interests, and availability.

There was multiple bugs in their web scraping system when I first joined the project. I helped them to fix all of them and I built a generic scraper template which would improve their time efficiency in building new web scrapers.

Additionally, I improved their web scarping system to scale and extract data more intensively from more resources without getting banned by anti-bot systems, such as Cloudflare Bot Management, DataDome, Akamai Bot Manager, Kasada and etc.

Introduced a new web scraping technique which was about scraping the API endpoints directly. This added a lot of efficiency to their system.

During this project, I was also in contact with junior developers where I was helping them improve their skills.

I added text and video-based documentations to make sure the changes and improvements I made will be easy to follow for the engineers who work on this project after me.
