Asfarma

Asfarma is a leading Turkish pharmaceutical company in CIS countries. The company has been engaged in the marketing and sales of medicines and food supplements.

The project is very old. Imagine, it is deployed via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). Which is the oldest way of deploying websites. This technology existed long before automated pipelines or version control (like Git). Because the old tech stack and lack of documentation, they couldn't find a developer to handle the task.

I worked on building new custom pages for their new product by continuing to use their existing tech stack. I followed the design from figma file they've provided. During the project, I ensured the SEO performance of the new pages are top level. Mobile experience was tested on multiple browsers to ensure the modern browsers keep rendering the old libraries correctly.

Understanding the legacy codebase that doesn't have a documentation was a real challenge here. Also deployment was risky as well. No git versioning at all.

I focused on my task and shipped it successfully before the deadline. Deployment was done by me without any issue at all.
